Top seed Novak Djokovic is going to face difficult challenge against his rival five-time US Open champion Roger Federer in New York, where world No. 1 has been struggling with his form at the moment.
Seven-time major title winner Novak Djokovic has been sweating hard in training with Coach Boris Becker, ahead of the US Open first round match begins next week at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at New York. Djokovic has reached US Open finals for four consecutive times from 2010 to 2012, as he won only single title in 2011 beating 14-time singles major title winner Rafael Nadal in four sets with a 6–2, 6–4, 6–7(3–7), 6–1 score line.
Novak Djokovic has made early exit from the Pre-US Open tournaments Rogers Cup and Cincinnati Masters, which makes him big disappointment ahead of the year ending Grand slam. Serbian should play good tennis of his career to give tough competition to best players on the tour. Djokovic is also having most of the chances to clinch US open crown, after his best rival Rafael Nadal withdrawal from the tournament. Both the tennis champions have played each other in three US Open final in past four years, as Nadal won championship title in 2010 and 2013, while Djokovic bagged in 2011.
Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer have been seeded top at the US Open 2014, begins from 25th August to 8th September at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at New York.
