Former World No. 1 Roger Federer had enjoyed weekend in the Sportsnet Ball Hockey Challenge game at Rexall Centre at York University on 3rd August.
17-time Grand slam champion Roger Federer has return back to Toronto on Saturday to take part in the 2014 Rogers Cup, where he is going to lead men’s singles along with top seed Novak Djokovic. Federer is aiming to clinch Rogers Cup for third time in his career and it could be a big challenge to face best players on the tour.
32-year-old Roger Federer has arrived to Rexall Centre court on Sunday 3rd August to take part in the ball hockey game with some of the NHL’s stars including New Dallas Stars centre Jason Spezza and Phil Kessel. Federer said it was great for him playing in Rexall Centre court and he was a big fan of hockey game, where he love to collect NHL jerseys.
Federer said it was a bit lucky to play hockey game in tennis shoes and he can’t skate at all during the Sportsnet Ball Hockey Challenge game. He added he had enjoyed a lot with lastic sticks, plastic balls with holes inside. Federer is likely to get back to action on Tuesday or Wednesday to play second round against Janowicz and expecting to meet third round against Marin Cilic in 2014 Rogers Cup.
