Six-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic hopes to give tough challenge to his rival world No. 1 Rafael Nadal in the upcoming 2014 Wimbledon Championships, which will kick off from 23rd June being played here on outdoor grass courts at All England Club in London.
Rafael Nadal is likely to lead men’s singles along with Novak Djokovic, Stanislas Wawrinka, Roger Federer and Andy Murray in 2014 Wimbledon Championships. Meanwhile, Andy Murray will defend Wimbledon at home in front of home fans and he is looking very aggressive to regain All England Club for second time in his career.
Rafael Nadal has been struggling with his performance from past two years in Wimbledon, where he had made first round exit in 2013 and second round lose in 2012. Djokovic is expecting to take revenge over Nadal, who had bagged ninth French Open crown earlier this month in Roland Garros. Spaniard might face difficult challenge to meet Djokovic and Murray and he needs to prepare well for the upcoming grass court tournament. Roger Federer the 17-time singles Grand Slam champion has won seventh Halle Open crown after beating Alejandro Falla 7-6 (7-2) 7-6 (7-3) in finals.
