Meanwhile, Last year finalist David Ferrer overwhelmed Simone Bolelli with a 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 and two-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray conquered Marinko Matosevic in three sets with a 6-3, 6-1, 6-3.
