Rafael Nadal will return back to action to lead men’s singles at the Sony Open Tennis followed by his rival World No. 2 Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka, where Spaniard hopes to return back to form to clinch season’s first Masters title here in Miami.
13-time singles Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal might face tough task against his rival World No. 2 Novak Djokovic and in-form Roger Federer in Sony Open Tennis, where both the player have showed high level performance last week in Indian Wells. Spaniard is going to arrive soon in Miami and he will take part in training on outdoor hard courts along with his team, ahead of his opening round match.
Nadal, who had not played in Sony Open Tennis last year to give his rest to his left knee, but he is looking very confident to bounce back this year to clinch first ever Miami Masters title. Spaniard is considered as one of the hot favorite to clinch Miami Masters next week, as he needs to play consistent tennis against best players on the tour.
Nadal has reached Sony Open Tennis final for two times in 2008 losing to Nikolay Davydenko in two sets with a 6-4, 6-4, while falls to Novak Djokovic in three sets with a 4–6, 6–3, 7–6(7–4) in 2011.
