Serena Williams, Li Na leads, Jelena Jankovic climbs to No. 6

Serena Williams and Li Na has been leading top two places in Women’s singles in the latest WTA Rankings announced on Monday 17th March, while Simona Halep has clinched couple of places to No. 5.

Serena Williams is going to return back to court at the Sony Open Tennis in Miami this week, where she will join along with her rivals Li Na, Maria Sharapova and Jelena Jankovic at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park. Simona Halep has moved couple of places to No. 2 has been playing best tennis of her career, where she has lost BNP Paribas Open semi final to Agnieszka Radwanska in straight sets with a 3-6, 4-6.

Former World No. 1 Jelena Jankovic has been passing through great form from the beginning of the season, as she will play her next WTA tournament at the Sony Open Masters in Miami. Jankovic has lost BNP Paribas Open quarter final to World No. 3 Radwanska in three sets with a 7-5, 2-6, 6-4 score line.
