17-time singles Grand Slam champion Serena Williams was schedule to play her next WTA tournament at the 2014 Sony Open Tennis tournament, which will kick off from this month ending in Miami.
32-year-old Serena Williams, who has withdraws from the 2014 BNP Paribas Open tournament, she is looking forward to prepare well for the upcoming WTA Sony Open Tennis this month ending. American star is having an amazing record here in Tennis Center at Crandon Park, where she has won previous titles for six times so far in her career from 2002 to 2004, 2007, 2008 and 2013.
World No. 1 Serena Williams has overcome agianst her rival former World No. 1 Maria Sharapova in three sets with a 4–6, 6–3, 6–0 in last year’s final. Serena, who had not play any tournament since losing 2014 Dubai Tennis Championships semi final to Frenchwomen Alize Cornet in two sets with a 4-6, 4-6 score line.
