Four-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova and former World no. 1 Victoria Azarenka hopes to return back to top three in the WTA Rankings, as both the players are looking confident to come back to high level form.

Belarus star Victoria Azarenka has been struggling with injuries from the beginning of the season, where she has withdraws from the Qatar Open and Dubai Tennis Championships. She has been working hard in training over her fitness and she is eyeing to start winning streak against best players on the tour. Azarenka has not played any of the WTA tournaments so far since losing 2014 Australian Open quarter final to world No. 4 Victoria Azarenka in three sets with a 6-1, 5-7, 6-0.

Maria Sharapova the two-time major title champion was schedule to play her next tournament at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, which will kick off next month on outdoor hard courts. Russian beauty has begun training session on hard courts and she has been preparing well for the upcoming tournament. It will be a tough challenge for both the players to come back top form next month.

Sharapova holds fifth place with 5206 points, while Azarenka at No. four with 5681 points in the WTA Rankings announced earlier this week by WTA Tour.
