Six-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic is likely to skip from the Davis Cup clash against Switzerland Serbian Coach Bogdan Obradovic had given a statement on Monday.
Former World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who had lost 2014 Australian Open quarter final to World No. 3 Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland, he is looking forward to take rest for some time. Djokovic has return back to home last week, where he is expecting to spend more time along with family and friends to relax from the busy schedule.
26-year-old Novak Djokovic was schedule to play his next ATP tournament at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, an ATP World Tour 500 event from 24th February to 1st March. Serbian is eyeing to defend the title at Dubai, where he had won singles title for four times so far in his career. Djokovic had won previous Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships title in 2009 to 2011 and 2013.
Djokovic hopes to prepare well for the upcoming ATP tournaments, where he needs a lighter preparation that would leave him back to high level tennis.
