13-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal and World No. 2 Novak Djokovic has been leading men’s singles at the 2013 BNP Paribas Open, schedule to kick off from 28th October to 3rd November at the Palais omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris.
World No. 1 Rafael Nadal is going to well prepare for the Paris Masters tournament, as he will face big challenge against his rival Novak Djokovic. Both the players are going battle for No. 1 place in the ATP Rankings in the 2013 BNP Paribas Open by end of the season, before heading to the ATP World Tour Championship Finals.
27-year-old Nadal, who had never won the BNP Paribas Open crown so far in his career, he is looking forward to show best performance to lift the title for the first time. Nadal will become the only player to clinch six Masters title in a season, as he won five Masters so far in 2013. Spaniard has been seeded as No. 1 followed by Djokovic at No. 2 and David Ferrer at No. 3 seeds respectively in the Paris Masters.
Novak Djokovic has won only BNP Paribas Open long back in 2009, beating Frenchman Gael Monfils in three sets with a 6–2, 5–7, 7–6(7–3). Nadal and Djokovic are the hot favorites to clinch the BNP Paribas Open crown, before heading to ATP World Tour Championship Finals in London.
