Six-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic is eyeing to return back to No. 1 place in the next tournament at the 2013 BNP Paribas Open in Paris from next week.
26-year-old Novak Djokovic had lost his No. 1 place in the ATP Rankings to 13-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal at China Open earlier this month. Serbian star is looking forward to regain top place before heading to the 2013 ATP World Tour Championship Finals tournament from 4th November at Arena O2 in London.
World No. 2 Djokovic has begun training for the 2013 Paris Masters, where he had not won a single title at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy. Djokovic will have to fight hard against Rafael Nadal for Paris Masters next week and it is going to be the epic match between both the players.
Spanish star Rafael Nadal will not be defending any points in BNP Paribas Open, while Djokovic has only points on the track. Djokovic will defend the ATP World Tour Championship Finals and Nadal will not defend single point in London. Currently, Nadal holds No. 1 place with 11,520 points, while Djokovic has been standing at No. 2 with 11,120 points in the latest ATP Rankings.
