Six-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic is eyeing to finish No. 1 place in the ATP Rankings by end of the 2013 season, where he needs to fight hard against his rival World No. 2 Rafael Nadal.
Novak Djokovic, the World No. 1 Serbian star is having huge threat by 13-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal and it could be a tough battle between both the tennis players by end of the 2013 season. Djokovic should fight hard to clinch remaining ATP tournaments China Open, Shanghai Masters, Swiss Indoors and Paris Masters. Djokovic has ended-up the season as No. 1 for two times in 2011 and 2012, where he is seeking to finish the season at top place for third consecutive time.
Novak Djokovic was schedule to play his opening round match against Lukas Rosol in the China Open on Monday, where he also confirmed to play doubles match along with World No. 10 Stanislas Wawrinka. Serbian is also going to defend the year ending’s 2013 ATP World Tour Championship Finals tournament, which will kick off next month in London Arena’s O2.
Djokovic has been focusing more on China Open at the moment and looking forward to prepare well for the event. He added he is very excited to play in the China Open and it is his first ATP Tournament since losing US Open championship final earlier this month against Rafael Nadal. Serbian is aiming to clinch the China Open for fourth time this week, as he won previous titles in 2009, 2010 and 2012.
