16-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams is looking confident to bounce back to clinch the US Open championship title, schedule to kick off from next month at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows.
World number one Serena Williams has been playing remarkable tennis from the beginning of the 2013 season and hopes to continue similar performance against her rivals like four-time major title champion Maria Sharapova and World No. 3 Victoria Azarenka. American tennis legend has won the US Open crown for four times so far in 1999, 2002, 2008 and 2012, where she is eyeing to clinch the title for fifth time this year.
31-year-old Serena Williams, who has won the her fourth US Open singles crown after beating Victoria Azarenka in three sets with a 6–2, 2–6, 7–5 in the final, she has become the only third women’s singles player in open era to win Wimbledon, Olympics and US Open in a season after former World No. 1 tennis champions Steffi Graf and Venus Williams.
