Former World No. 1 Rafael Nadal uncle and coach Toni Nadal said his nephew’s left knee was not doing well at the moment, but it is going to stop Spanish tennis star without play in the 2013 French Open championship here in Roland Garros. Toni Nadal feels Rafael Nadal is looking hot favorite to clinch the French Open, compare to 17-time major title winner Roger Federer and World No. 1 Novak Djokovic.

Toni Nadal said king of clay Rafael Nadal is having more chances to defend the French Open championship, but he is struggling with a lot of pain in his left knee. Nadal, who was injured his left knee last season and skips Olympics, US Open and Australian Open, he has return back to court strongly to clinch six ATP Tour titles from the starting of the 2013 season. Nadal is holding second place in the ATP Rankings points ahead of Novak Djokovic this year. Toni Nadal said Nadal’s knee is not comfortable right now, where he will back to court this weekend to take part in the practice.

Toni Nadal says World No. 3 Roger Federer is having fewer chances to clinch the French Open, as he was struggling with his form and Novak Djokovic will be the more reliable player at Roland Garros. Meanwhile, Tomas Berdych and Dimitrov can show their best performances’ to raise their level of tennis, which it is the best opportunity to improve their rankings says Toni Nadal. He added Nadal has been working hard over his fitness and excited to play his opening round match next week at Roland Garros.

Toni Nadal says its very crucial for every player to be fit for 100 percent fit, ahead of a major tournament. Nadal will be No. 3 seed at the French Open ahead of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
