World No. 1 Novak Djokovic is eyeing to clinch the first ever French Open championship at Roland Garros to finish career slam, where he will face tricky opponents like King of Clay Rafael Nadal, Swiss legend Roger Federer and World No. 3 Andy Murray, who are in title race at French Open.
24-year-old Novak Djokovic has been passing through great form at the moment and looking forward to continue similar performance against top plays in upcoming ATP World Tour events. Djokovic will meet his rivals Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray in the Mutua Madrid Masters, which will starts from 6th May in Madrid. Djokovic has clinches Monte Carlo Rolex Masters title last week, after beating Rafael Nadal in straight sets.
Six-time Grand Slam winner Djokovic has been preparing for the French Open championship, where he has lost last year’s final to Nadal in four sets. Serbian top seed said it will be a big challenge to beat Nadal on his favorite surface, but he needs to work hard to clinch the first ever title here in Roland Garros. Djokovic feels Federer is the best player on grass court, while Nadal rules red surface from past years in open era.
Djokovic has retained as No. 1 in the ATP Rankings followed by Roger Federer as No. 2 and Andy Murray as No. 3 respectively in the latest ranking points. Meanwhile, Nadal is holding No. 5 ahead of Spanish top seed David Ferrer at No. 4.
