Novak Djokovic vs. Mikhail Youzhny: Monte Carlo Masters Live Score & Updates

World No.1 Novak Djokovic playing his first match against 27 seed Mikhail Youzhny in the second round of Monte Carlo Masters.

Novak Djokovic confirmed about his participation in the tournament yesterday. Djokovic took rest and spent some time in practice sessions. Djokovic lost the first set to the Russian player Mikhail Youzhny 4-6.

In the second set, Djokovic fought back and lead with 5-1, where Djokovic broke the service for twice and he didn’t gave any chance to Mikhail Youzhny to win the second set. Djokovic won the set one sided 6-1.

What a come back!!

Mikhail Youzhny opened the third set and Djokovic leading with 40-15 in the first game. Now the score is 2-1 in the third and final set.

Djokovic won the next game in his serve and leading with 3-1. Immediately, Mikhail Youzhny fought well and won the game in his serve. The score is now 3-2. Djokovic served for his 4th game and the score is now 15-30. Mikhail Youzhny won 2 points quickly. Youzhny played really well and broke Djokovic’s service and leveled the score 3-3.

The next game was really hot where both players are fighting for each point and now the score is 40-40. Djokovic got the advantage to break Youzhny’s serve for the second time and now at ‘Advantage’ Djokovic. The score is A-40. Again Youzhny leveled the score 40-40. The Russian player giving tough competition to the World No.1 here and succeeded to win the 2 points and win the game leading the third set 3-4.

Djokovic is serving for his 4th game. It’s a tough match for Djokovic, but the viewers are thoroughly enjoying the match. Again Youzhny winning the points and the score is now 40-40. Djokovic quickly won a point and at ADVANTAGE in the game. Wow….Djokovic leveled the score in the third set, 4-4.

Youzhny is serving for his fifth game. Djokovic won the first two points and lead the game 30-0. Its the time to break Youzhny’s serve to win the third set. Djokovic is all set for that. But Youzhny fought back and won 2 points and the score is 30-30. Djokovic won the next point and the score is now 40-30. Djokovic use his experience to win his next point and win the game. The score is now 5-4 in the third set.

Djokovic is serving for the match!!!

Djokovic did a fault serve but he delivered the second correctly. He won the first point but lost second. the score is 15-15. Youzhny has to do his best to stop the World No.1 now. But Djokovic didn’t gave any chance to him to win the remaining points and won the game and match 4-6, 6-1, 6-4.

World No.1 entered into the third round of Monte Carlo !!!
