11-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal insists that over his respect for football stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who are claiming their rivalry is boosting each other on to greater heights.

26-year-old Rafael Nadal, who has clinched third ATP Tour title at the BNP Paribas Open in 2013 season, he also made 18th win out of his 19 matches since coming back from left knee injury. Nadal is having good relationship along with soccer stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, where all the three athletes well known in their respective fields.

Former World No. 1 Nadal said that, Barcelona great Lionel Messi has been leading World Footballer of the Year ahead of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for last four years, where both are passing through amazing form in terms of talent. Nadal has praised Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for their great rivalry in soccer.

Nadal said Messi and Cristiano amazing players on the field what they are doing at the moment and both the players have taken football game to another level. He added also improving a lot every year in their respective numbers.
