World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer will lead 2013 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship, schedule to start from 25th February at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre in Dubai.
World No. 2 Roger Federer had great record at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre in Dubai, where he has bagged five Dubai Tennis Championships so far in his tennis career. Swiss legend, who has won the Dubai Tennis Championships title last year beating World No. 3 Andy Murray in consecutive sets with a 7-5, 6-4 score line. Federer has won previous titles from 2003 to 2005, 2007 and 2012 and also leading men’s players to win more titles here in Dubai.
Novak Djokovic, the six-time Grand Slam winner is going to return back to action at the Dubai Tennis Championships from next week, where he is eyeing to lift the crown for fourth time. Djokovic has won the titles consecutive three times from 2009 to 2011 and hopes to give best performance to lift the fourth Dubai Tennis Championships’.
Djokovic has been seeded as no. 1 followed by Federer as No. 2 and Czech Tomas Berdych as No. 3 seeds respectively at the 2013 Dubai Tennis Championships, being played here on outdoor hard courts at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre in Dubai.
