Roger Federer, the 17-time Grand Slam Swiss legend was schedule to play next ATP Tournament at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, which will kick off from 25th February in Dubai.
World No. 2 Roger Federer will return back to action again in the 2013 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, schedule to start from next week being played here on outdoor hard courts at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre in Dubai. Federer has been seeded as No. 2 ahead of the six-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic as No. 1 at the Dubai Duty Tennis tournament.
31-year-old Federer is aiming to clinch the Dubai Tennis Championships title for sixth time, where he has won previous titles from 2003 to 2005, 2007 and 2012 so far in his career. Swiss Maestro has outlasted his rival World No. 3 Andy Murray in last year’s final in consecutive sets with a 7-5, 6-4 score line, while three time defending champion Novak Djokovic last quarter final to scot.
Later, Federer will travel to United States to take part in the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells from next month, being played on outdoor hard courts. Federer hopes to play best tennis to lift the Dubai Duty tournament, where he will face big challenge against his rival Novak Djokovic.
