11-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has congratulated Argentina soccer star Lionel Messi for winning the Ball Ballon d’Or for best footballer of the year

King of Clay Rafael Nadal has praised Barcelona star Lionel Messi, after winning the Ballon d’Or for best footballer of the season for a record fourth time in his career. Nadal said Lionel Messi is one of the greatest players of all time soccer history. Nadal likes to watch all soccer matches of Barcelona, where he also loves to play football for few occasions.

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque also bagged top honors for playing crucial role in their Euro 2012 victory followed by 2010 World Cup win and Euro 2008 triumphs. They also grabbed top honors for Spanish and La Liga players at the prestigious awards on Tuesday 9th January.

Barcelona has posted a message on twitter account that Club President Sandro Rosell said he was “very proud of their team players for winning the prestigious awards with Barcelona.

Former World No. 1 Rafael Nadal posted a message on his twitter account that ‘Congrats to Leo Messi for his new golden ball’ and It was difficult with two cracks like Iniesta and Cristiano.
