World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and 2012 US Open winner Andy Murray will lead the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, which will be held at Abu Dhabi from December 29 to 31.
World No. 4 Andy Murray will begin the tennis along with Serbian second seed Janko Tipsarevic in the capital for the 2012 Mubadala World Tennis Championship at the Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex, Zayed Sports City on 27th December. Scot leads with a 5-3 win loss head-to-head record against Tipsarevic on the ATP World Tour, while both the players are meeting for the ninth time in their career.
King of Clay Rafael Nadal will return back to court at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, where he will face winner of the Murray or Tipsarevic in the first semi final. Meanwhile five-time major title champion Novak Djokovic will take on winner of the World No. 5 David Ferrer or Tomas Berdych of Czech Republic in the second semi final.
17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer was not invited to take part in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship this year, where he will start the season at Australian Open in January.
