11-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal is likely to play in the 2013 AAMI Classic, schedule to kick off in January at the Kooyong Stadium in Melbourne.
Former World No. 1 Rafael Nadal has been working hard on his left knee to return back to full fitness, where he is looking forward to take part in training session soon this month. Spaniard has plans for upcoming season, after missing most of the tournaments in second half of the 2012, due to left knee injury.
World No. 4 Nadal had begin this season in a cash-rich exhibition tournament in the United Arab Emirates, where he take part in the tournament along with rivals World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer, before heading into the new season. According to sources Nadal will practice well in Kooyong Open for better preparations, ahead of the Australian Open.
Nadal will meet his rivals Federer, Djokovic and Murray at the Kooyong Open to begin the new season at the Kooyong Stadium in Melbourne.
