2009 US Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro is aiming to climb to top four in the ATP Rankings soon by the next season, where the ATP Tour will kick off from January in Australia.
22-year-old Del Potro, who was ended his winning streak in the ATP World Tour semi finals against World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in three sets on Sunday 12th November. Argentinean star is looking forward to continue similar form in 2013 season, which will bids him to enter into top four in the ATP Rankings. Del Potro has played great season this year by reaching top ten in the Rankings and finished the season at No. 7 in 2012.
Del Potro has played remarkable tennis to beat 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer in their last meetings at Basel Open final and ATP World Tour third round robin match. He added Djokovic, Federer, Murray and Nadal are winning major titles and he would like to take part to win more grand slams to join along with top four.
Del Potro said he had played great season, but he needs to apply more tough tennis to give best challenge to Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray to lift majors in 2013.
