Victoria Azarenka, Agnieszka Radwanska leads WTA Rankings

2012 Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka, Poland star Agnieszka Radwanska and Russian top seed Maria Sharapova have leads top three spots in the WTA Rankings.

22-year-old Victoria Azarenka has return back to No. 1 with 8800 points, while Victoria Azarenka holds top spot with 8530 points in the WTA Rankings, which was announced on Monday by WTA Tour. Belarus top seed has showed amazing performance to reach Wimbledon semi finals, before losing to American tennis great Serena Williams in consecutive sets.

Maria Sharapova has slide down two places to No. 3 with 8370 points, meanwhile 14-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams’s climbed two places to No. 4 in the WTA Rankings. Czech Republic star Petra Kvitova slips two places to No. 6 and German star Angelique Kerber climbed a place to No. 7 in the WTA Rankings. Former World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki moves to No. 8, after her poor performance from the beginning of the season.

American tennis great Serena Williams has been playing great tennis right now and clinched singles and doubles Wimbledon Championships last weekend in All England Club. Serena has ascend two places to No. 4 in the WTA Rankings. 2008 French Open winner Ana Ivanovic, who has been playing consistent tennis in 2012 and played some good tennis in Wimbledon to reach fourth round to Victoria Azarenka. She holds 12th spot with 3,190 points.
