11-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal is still doubtful to defend men’s singles title, where he was struggling with knee injury from earlier this week.

26-year-old Nadal needs to take 15 days rest to return back to court for 2012 Summer Olympic preparations, but it’s very tough to defend his men’s singles title here in London. Nadal said he has been working hard to be 100 percent fit to take part in the Olympic glory and he is going to carry his national flag in the 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony in London this month ending.

Former World No. 1 Nadal has started his knee treatment along with his personal doctors and aiming to play London Olympics with 100 percent fitness. Spanish star said he is very proud to carry on Spain flag and hopes to give best performance to defend the men’s singles gold medal.

Nadal will begin rehab to recover soon from knee pain, as he also withdrawn from the exhibition match, which was schedule to play against World No. 1 Novak Djokovic at Real Madrid’s Bernabeu stadium. The charity match was organized by the Real Madrid and Rafa Nadal Foundations, where it was schedule to play on 14th July.
