King of Clay Rafael Nadal will take on Denis Istomin in the 2012 French Open second round Tournament at 09:00 GMT on Thursday 31st May, being played here on outdoor clay courts at Roland Garros in Paris.

Former World No. 1 Rafael Nadal has reached French Open second round, after beating his opening round opponent Italian Simone Bolelli in consecutive sets with a 6-2, 6-2, 6-1. Spaniard has played remarkable tennis in the opening round and hopes to continue similar form throughout the French Open.

25-year-old Nadal has posted a message on his Facebook wall that, he has been working hard at another tennis club and surprised to see several kids arrived to watch training on Thursday.

Both the players are meeting for the third time in their career, where Nadal leads with a 2-0 win loss head-to-head record against Istomin. The pair last meet at 2010 US Open fourth, as Spaniard clinched victory in three sets with a 6-2, 7-6(5), 7-5. As per the predications, second seed Nadal is having most of the chances to second round and advances into French Open 3rd round, being played here on outdoor clay courts at Roland Garros.

Danis Istomin has overwhelmed Russian Igor Kunitsyn in the French Open first round in three sets with a 6-2, 6-1, 6-2. Uzbekistan tennis star will have to face big challenge to beat King of Clay in the next round, where he needs to play best tennis of his career to reach French Open third round.
