The former World No. 7 Richard Gasquet will take on Philipp Kohlschreiber in the quarter finals at the 2012 Montpellier Open tournament, which will begin at 18:05 GMT on Friday 3rd February, being played on indoor hard courts in France.

Currently, Richard Gasquet holds World No. 16th position and aiming to secure his place in top ten ATP Rankings. Frenchman has overcome against Russian tennis champion Nikolay Davydenko in second round with a 6-3, 6-4 score line and will face tricky opponent in the quarter final on Friday. Frenchman has been playing amazing tennis from the beginning of the 2012 season, as he reached Hopman Cup final, Apia International quarter final and Australian Open fourth round last month.

German star has thrashed Edouard Roger-vasselin of France in second round with a 6-4, 7-5 and Olivier Rochus of Belgium in the first round with a 6-1, 6-4. Philipp Kohlschreiber also made best appearance in the Australian Open fourth round, before losing to 2009 US Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro in three sets.

Both the players are battling for third time and Richard Gasquet leads with a 2-0 head-to-head record against Philipp Kohlschreiber. The pair last meet at 2006 Gstaad ATP event, as Gasquet defeated Kohlschreiber in three sets with a 6-1, 1-6, 6-2. As per the Predictions, fourth seed Gasquet will win the quarterfinal match and enter into semi finals in 2012 Montpellier Open tournament.
