The former Tennis legend John McEnroe has praised World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who has clinched 2012 Australian Open championship crown for third time in his career last month in Melborune.
Seven-time Grand Slam holder John McEnroe said Novak Djokovic has becoming tougher than ever to beat him in men’s singles and pushed his level of tennis to unbelievable. He added Djokovic on his way like former American tennis greats Andre Agassi and Jimmy Connors, who has eight major titles. McEnroe thinks it’s a golden moment for Serbian, where he has clinched two ATP Tour titles so far in this 2012 season at Qatar Open and Australian Open in January.
Djokovic has been growing as one of the best player in tennis sport and hopes to win more majors in his career. The American tennis legend feels Bernard Tomic and Milos Raonic are the two amazing prospect for the new generation of tennis players, who is having the ability to win major titles. Andy Murray has been playing great tennis from past season, but it’s unfortunate to lose thrilling 2012 Australian Open semi finals against top seed Djokovic.
The 16-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer has been playing good tennis at the moment, but it’s tough to win a major at the age 30 says McEnroe. He added Swiss Maestro needs to focus more on his fitness.
