The World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka has arrived in United States to take park in the weekend Fed Cup against America, where former World No. 1 Serena and her elder sister Venus Williams lead the team.
The 22-year-old Victoria Azarenka is going to meet with her mother, since winning the Australian Open 2012 championship, beating Russian top seed Maria Sharapova in two sets with a 6-3, 6-0 in the final epic. Azarenka said she is very excited to play Fed Cup against United States, who will lead by former World tennis champions Serena and Venus Williams. She is aiming to win more major titles in her career and looking forward to show similar performance in further tournaments says Belarus top seed.
The 2012 Australian Open champion Azarenka, who has become the first Belarusian to win a Grand Slam singles championship in Melbourne last week, while Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko had congratulated her for achievement and awarded the Order of the Motherland.
The 13-time singles Grand Slam holder Serena will face tough battle against new World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka in Fed Cup, which will begin from next week. Venus Williams has been getting ready for the Fed Cup, as she has working hard on her fitness to play in Fed Cup. Venus has not played any official tournament, since US Open withdrawn in August.
