The Russian top seed Mikhail Youzhny will clash against Grega Zemlja of Slovenia in the second round at PBZ Zagreb Open tournament at 13:30 GMT on Thursday 2nd February.
The World No. 39 Mikhail Youzhny has reached second round of the PBZ Zagreb ATP tournament, after beating Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine in the first round in two sets with a 6-4, 7-6 score line. Youzhny has been improving his level of tennis to start the 2012 season and hopes to give 100 percent on the court to win the PBZ Zagreb Open says Youzhny. Russian star has lost Australian Open first round to Andrey Golubev in thrilling five sets with a 5-7, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4, 3-6.
The 25-year-old Grega Zemlja has overwhelmed Antonio Veic in three sets with a 7-6, 7-6 in the first round on Tuesday. Slovenian tennis star has begun the 2012 season at Qatar Open in Dubai, where he has reached second round, before falling to 16-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer in two sets with a 6-2, 6-3.
Both the players never played each other in their career, whereas Mikhail Youzhny and Grega Zemlja are meeting for the first time in career. As the predications’ favor Russian tennis champion can win the second round and enter into PBZ Zagreb Open third round on Thursday.
