France top seed, Marion Bartoli has once again left off the France Fed Cup team, due to conflict with the France Fed Cup captain, Nicolas Escude.
Nicolas Escude, the captain of the France Fed Cup team has announced the squad for the Fed Cup clash against Slovakia in World Group II with Alize Cornet, Pauline Parmentier, Virginie Razzano and Aravane Rezai.
Meanwhile, Kristina Mladenovic will be an extra player for the France, when they take on Slovakia from February 4-5 in the best-of-five series on indoor hard courts in Bratislava.
World No.7, Marion Bartoli has been the top seeded player of France, since last three years. However, she has fought with the France Fed Cup captain, Nicolas Escude and the French tennis federation over the autonomous coaching set-up with her father, Walter.
2007 Wimbledon finalist, Marion Bartoli has also been left out of team when France played Spain on clay in the World Group playoff last April.
France world No.7, Marion Bartoli has faced a stunning defeat in the third round of the 2012 Australia Open against China’s, Zheng Jie with a score line of 6-3 6-3.
