Guillermo Garcia-lopez vs. Ivan Dodig in PBZ Zagreb Open

The 28-year-old Guillermo Garcia-lopez will battle against Croatian tennis champion Ivan Dodig in the second round at PBZ Zagreb Open tournament at 16:50 GMT on Thursday 2nd February, being played on indoor hard courts.

Ivan Dodig, who holds World No. 38th position in the ATP Rankings, he has defeated Marsel Ilhan of Turkey in thrilling two sets with a 7-6, 7-5 in the first round. Ivan Dodig has been struggling with his form, where he opens the season at Apia International in Adelaide. Croatian star also lost first round match in Australian Open Frederico Gil in four sets.

Guillermo Garcia-lopez has defeated Daniel Evans of Germany in first round in three sets with a 6-4, 6-1, 1-6. Spanish star is going to face tough battle in the PBZ Zagreb Open second round and hopes to show best performance against Ivan Dodig. Lopez has improved his level of tennis at Heineken Open and lost quarterfinals match to fellow Davis Cup teammate Fernando Verdasco.

Both the players are clashing for the third time, where Ivan Dodig and Guillermo Garcia-lopez hold 1-1 head-to-head record in career. The pair last meets at 2011 Zagreb ATP tournament, as Dodig thrashed Lopez in three sets with a 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-4 score line. Predictions favor Croatian star is looking hot favorite to clinch victory in the second round and advance into PBZ Zagreb Open third round.
