The 10-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has arrived here in Palma de Mallorca Airport on Tuesday morning, after losing 2012 Australian Open championship finals to World No. 1 Novak Djokovic.
The World No. 2 ranked Rafael Nadal insists it’s unlucky to lose 2012 Australian Open final to a tricky opponent Novak Djokovic in thrilling tough five sets at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne Park. Nadal, who has arrived in Palma de Mallorca Airport on Tuesday, he is looking very tired and wants to spend some time along with his family and friends in his home town. Nadal has lost seven championship finals to a similar player Novak Djokovic, who has been dominating men’s singles from past season and won four out of five majors.
The 25-year-old Nadal said he is going skip from the Davis Cup tie against Kazakhstan, which will begin from February 10th to 12th at Oviedo. Spaniard said he has been niggling with few injuries, where he needs to give rest to his body to heal and will return back strongly.
Spain Davis Cup captain Alex Corretja will guide the team in first-round matchup, while World No. 11 Nicolas Almagro will play along with former No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero, Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez.
