The World No. 1 Guillermo Garcia-Lopez will battle against Great Britain qualifier Daniel Evans in the second round at 2012 PBZ Zagreb Open championship at 09:35 GMT on Wednesday 1st February.

The Spanish tennis champion Guillermo Garcia-Lopez has played tough match in the first round against Igor Kunitsyn of Russia in consecutive sets with a 6-4, 6-7. Lopez has played great tennis in the 2012 Australian Open championship, where he has reached fourth round, before losing to Rafael Nadal in three sets.

The 21-year-old Lopez Daniel Evans has been playing first ATP tournament, since appearing in last match at 2011 French Open at Roland Garros against Frenchman Gael Monfils in four sets with a 6-3, 6-1, 1-6, 3-6. Both the players are battling for the second time in career, where Guillermo Garcia-Lopez leads with a 1-0 win loss head-to-head record against World No. 209 Daniel Evans.

The pair last meet at 2008 Nottingham ATP tournament, as Lopez has overcome against Evans in three sets with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Lopez can win the second round and enter into the 2012 PBZ Zagreb Open championship third round, being played here on indoor hard courts. Guillermo Garcia-Lopez is one of the big favorite to win the PBZ Zagreb Open title on indoor hard courts, after playing good tennis at Australian Open last week.
