Belgium, Oliver Rochus will be battling in his opening encounter against the German, Philipp Kohlschreiber in the 2012 Montpellier Open.

World No.41, Philipp Kohlschreiber will be clashing with world No.54, Oliver Rochus in the first round oft the 2012 Montpellier Open on Monday, January 30, 2012 at in the Open Sud de France, which is schedule to be held in Montpellier, France.

Both the players will be battling in their fifth match against each other and has leveled their head to head record with 2-2. However, the previous clash between both of them was in the Auckland Open Semifinals in 2012, as Rochus has thrashed out Kohlschreiber in a thrilling three set encounter with a score line of 6-7(4) 6-1 6-4 to entre into the finals.

Kohlschreiber, however, bounced back and reach the fourth round of the Australian Open before succumbing to Juan Martin Del Potro. Germany player, Kohlschreiber has got a win-loss record of 6-3 in 2012.

Rochus advanced one round in Melbourne then ran into Tomas Berdych and lost in straight sets. 31-year-old Belgian is a three-time runner up on indoor hard courts on the ATP Tour and has got a win-loss record of 5-3 in 2012.

As per the predictions, it will be a straight sets victory for Germany, Kohlschreiber.
