Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, after playing six hours of grueling tennis entertainment in houseful of crowd at the Rod Laver, Melbourne. The seeded players have been complete exhausted at the title ceremony of the 2012 Australian Open.
In was indeed the longest and one of the greatest Grand Slam singles final in the history of tennis, as Novak Djokovic outlasted Rafael Nadal over 5 hours, 53 minutes to win a third Australian Open title.
Players have walked on court at 7:30 p.m on Sunday and it was 1:37 a.m. on Monday by the time Djokovic completed a scarcely believable 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 7-5 Victory.
After that, it was about the title ceremony, as both the players, Djokovic and Nadal could not able to stand on ground after running 12-km on the court battling against each other in an Epic finals. While the tournament officials were giving a speech one after the other, the Australian Open finalist were struggling to stand on the court and later by God’s grace they were finally given Chairs to set.
