The World No. 66 Albert Ramos will meet Frenchman Nicolas Mahut in the first round at Montpellier Open tournament, which will begin at 15:05 GMT on Tuesday 31st January.

The 30-year-old Nicolas Mahut has played great tennis at Australian Open, where he has advanced into the third round before falling to World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in three sets with a 6-0, 6-1, 6-1. Frenchman has begun the new season at Brisbane International and lost opening round to James Duckworth of Australia in straight sets with a 6-4, 6-4.

Spanish has played good tennis at 2012 Qatar Open championship, where he has enter into the quarterfinals before falling to World number. 6 Jo- Wilfried Tsonga of France in two sets with a 6-2, 6-1. 24-year-old Albert Ramos has lost Australian Open first round to World No. 7 Tomas Berdych in tough four sets with a 7-5, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.

Both the players are meeting for the first time in career, where Albert Ramos is having most of chances to make move to Australian Open second round. Albert Ramos and Nicolas Mahut are improving their performances’ in 2012 season, as the pair hopes to secure place in top 50 ATP Rankings.
