World no.4, Andy Murry will be missing the Davis Cup contest against Slovakia in the Europe/Africa Group I clash at Braehead Arena, as he would like to recover from the niggling injuries.
Murray, who has been defeated in a thrilling semifinals encounter against the eventually champion, Novak Djokovic in a thrilling five set encounter with a score line of 6-3 3-6 6-7 6-1 7-5 has admitted that, he was hampered by niggling injuries throughout the tournament.
The British top seed will have a break and later would be heading to Florida to start his training camping with his new coach and former tennis player, Ivan Lendl and the No.4 player in the world will be returning to the ATP world tour competitions at the Dubai.
Earlier, Murray has played in his last two-competition for Britain in Davis Cup ties and has won all five of his matches and is already eligible for the 2012 London Olympics this summer, which will be held one week after the Wimbledon grand slam at Home.
Murray while speaking with the sources has said that, to come so close in the Australian Open is hard to take. However, he is proud of the way he performed in the tournament and has a confidence to can achieve a grand slam title this year.
The top seeded Britain also hailed his coach stating that, it was my first time working with Ivan and from what we’ve seen I think having him as my coach will work out pretty well.
