The World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, 10-time major title holder Rafael Nadal and World No. 3 Roger Federer are expected to dominate men’s singles tennis in 2012 season, after showing amazing performance in Australian Open 2012 in Melbourne.
The 24-year-old Novak Djokovic has played remarkable tennis in 2012 Australian Open final against his rival Rafael Nadal of Spain in tough five sets with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5 at Rod Laver Arena on Sunday midnight. Djokovic and Nadal has begun the 2012 season with a high level performance at Australian Open, where both the players are looking best rivals in 2012. Serbian has played high level tennis in 2011 season with 70-5 win loss record and also climbed to No. 1 position in the ATP Rankings in July.
The former World number one Nadal has lost another Grand Slam epic at Rod Laver Arena on Sunday night, where he has lost six championship finals to top seed last year. Nadal and Federer are two players, who has lead the singles tennis from seven or eight years, as Djokovic is the only played to thrash both the players in 2011. Novak Djokovic holds top position, while Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer stand at 2nd and 3rd position respectively in the ATP Rankings.
The World No. 4 Andy Murray and 2009 US Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro is the other two players, who can give tough challenge to all top three players.
