The former World No.1 Roger Federer is looking hot favorite to clinch the year’s opening Grand Slam championship at Australian Open. However, tough time has started for the four times grand slam champion.
Roger Federer has thrashed out the Argentina world No.11, Juan Martin Del Potro with a score line of 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 to advance into the semifinal of the 2012 Australian Open. However, as per the predictions, the champion of 16-grand slams will be facing the top seeded players in tennis, Rafael Nadal in semifinals and Novak Djokovic in finals.
World No. 3, Roger Federer has showed one of the optimum performances to end the season with three consecutive ATP Tour titles at Basel Open, Paris Masters and ATP World Tour Finals in London in November and continuing marvelous shown in Australian Open as well.
But, Federer has already been toppled against the Rafael Nadal on most of the times and last year, he has failed to against Novak Djokovic in Australian Open semifinal and US Open semifinals.
So, it will be pity hard job for the 16-times grand slam champion, Federer to overcome his rivals Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal. However, if he shows his dominations and his experience, it will be the fifth title for the Swiss Maestro, Roger Federer.
