The World No. 16^th John Isner will meet Feliciano Lopez of Spain in the third round at 2012 Australian Open championship at 00:00 GMT on Friday 19^th January, schedule to begin on outdoor hard courts at Melbourne Park.

The 26-year-old John Isner had showed amazing performance in the Australian Open second round against experienced Argentinean star David Nalbandian in tough five sets with a 4-6, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6, 10-8 score line on Wednesday at Rod Laver Arena at Melbourne Park. American is looking in great form at the moment, where he is looking forward to show similar performance against Feliciano Lopez in the third round.

Feliciano Lopez, who holds World No. 19^th rank, he will face a tricky opponent in the third round at the Australian Open tournament. Spaniard has overcome against Italian Flavio Cipolla in three sets with a 7-5, 7-6, 6-2 score line in the second round.

John Isner and Lopez last meet at 2011 Paris ATP tournament, as American star clinched victory in straight sets with a 6-4, 6-2 score line. Both the players are meeting for the second time, where Isner leads with a 1-0 win loss head-to-head series against Spaniard. The predictions favor John Isner is having the little edge to win the third round triumph and enter into the Australian Open fourth round, being played here on outdoor hard courts at Rod Laver Arena at Melbourne Park.
