Five times Australian Open, Serena Williams hits the court for a practice on Sunday at Melbourne Park, Australia.
Former world No.1, Serena injured her left ankle while playing in the second round against Bojan Jovanovski in Brisbane and was back on court, after few second to pull a victory. However, after the match, the American top seed has decided to pull out of the 2012 Brisbane Open.
Serena Williams returned back to court to start her preparation for the next weeks grand slam tournament, 2012 Australian Open. The American had a practice session at Melbourne, where the reporters were not allowed to watch practise sessions. However, few photographs were taking, as Williams was wearing a bandage around her left ankle.
13-times grand slam champion has given an indication by preparing for the tour next week by practicing at Melbourne. Serena on her twitter account has tweeted that, I’m doing everything to heal up and win from within
Serena has won the Australian Open five times in times in her career 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010. However, due to blood clot in her lungs, has not played in 2011 Australian Open since claiming the title in 2010 Australian Open.
