16-times grand slam champion, Roger Federer will take on the world No.1, Novak Djokovic for the last time this season in Abu Dhabi.
World No.3, Roger Federer will be squaring off with the Serbian world No.1, Novak Djokovic in the semifinals of the 2011 Mubadala World Tennis Championship on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 GMT, which is being held in the Abu Dhabi, Dubai.
The head to head to between both the players have played in 24-macthes in the past, as the champion in tennis, Federer is leading the contest with 24-10 against the world No.1, Djokovic. However, both them have shown some fascinating encounters this season with Djokovic clinching victories in 4 matches of 5.
Swiss World No.3, Roger Federer, who has been out of form in the start of the season, has won just one title in Doha until the US Open Semi’s against Djokovic. However, after the US Open, Federer has shown his game by winning three consecutive titles in Basel, Paris and year end ATP Championship title. Federer has now got 17- consecuative victories and is hoping to continue his good form at Abu Dhabi.
Serbian world No.1, Novak Djokovic had a magical season in 2011 by winning 10-ATP World Tour titles and clinching 3-grand slams at Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open to end-up the season in with a win-loss 70-6.
