The former World No. 1 Serena Williams has been training in Miami, where she is looking forward to well prepare for the year’s opening Grand Slam event at Melbourne Park next month.
The 30-year-old Serena Williams has been enjoying her off court season along with her friends in Miami, where she has been making fun and ate lunch aboard a yacht, wearing a lean bikini that showed off her strong physique. American top seed is aiming to clinch the Australian Open crown for sixth time, as she won the title for five times from 11 appearances in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010.
The World No. 13th Serena, who has pulled out of the 2010 Australian Open championship with foot injuries and illness, where she is going to return back positively this year at Melbourne Park. American star has played just six WTA Tour event this season and won two titles, while played her last WTA tournament at US Open, as she withdrawn from Japan Open and China Open with toe injury in October
The 13-time singles major title holder Serena will play her next WTA Tournament at Brisbane International, which will kick off at the Queensland Tennis Centre in Tennyson from 1st January, being played here on outdoor hard courts. Serena is having most of the possibilities to add 14th Grand Slam to her kitty and can get back into the top ten WTA Rankings in 2012.
