Olympics gold medalist, Venus Williams and Serena Williams have knocked out the Italian Players, Francesca Schiavone and Flavia Pennetta to clinch their doubles victory with a score line of 3-7, 8-6, 8-6 on Sunday in an exhibition in Milan.
The Williams Sister, Venus and Serena have been knocked out in their Singles encounter against the former French Open Champion, Francesca Schiavone.
In the first Single’s exhibition match, world No.11, Francesca Schiavone has knocked out the five times grand slam champion, Venus Williams in straight sets with a score line of 7-5, 7-3 to win clinch her first victory.
Later, Schiavone has thrashed out the three times grand slam champion, Serena Williams, which was thrilling encounter of three set with as score line of 7-3, 8-10, 8-6.
In the second Singles clash against Flavia Pennetta has shown an incredible performance against the former world No.1, Venus Williams to enthrall a victory with 7-5 7-2. However, Pennetta could not able to overcome the former No.1 and 13-grand slam champion, Serena Williams by facing a defeat 6-8, 7-3, 7-3.
In the finals double round, William’s sisters have beaten the Italian player, Francesca Schiavone and Flavia Pennetta in a thrilling three set encounter with a score line of 3-7, 8-6, 8-6.
The Italian pair delighted the crowd in the warm-up by dancing to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.
