The 10-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal believes he will not play under pressure in Davis Cup final against Argentina, which will begin this weekend in his home town in Seville.
Spain has clinched four Davis Cup titles so far in past 10 years, while Argentina has never won the crown, but reached final in three occasions. The World No. 2 ranked Rafael Nadal said no additional pressure will included in the Davis Cup final and looking very positive to win the title at home in Seville. Nadal said every player will be having their own pressures to win the match and help the nation. Nadal will lead the Spain along with his Davis Cup teammates World No.5 David Ferrer, No. 20th Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco, who holds 24th spot in the ATP Rankings.
The 2009 US Open champion Juan Martín Del Potro said it’s very difficult to beat Spain team on clay court at the La Cartuja Stadium, who is leading by king of clay Rafael Nadal. David Nalbandian said Spain is looking hot favorite to win the Davis Cup final, but they will be under a lot pressure playing at home. Argentina will lead by Juan Martín Del Potro, David Nalbandian, World No. 26th Juan Monaco and Juan Ignacio Chela.
Spanish skipper Albert Costa said both the teams are having equal possibilities’ to win the Davis Cup final and it’s hard to predict the winner. He added tennis fans will enjoy with long and tough matches this week at the La Cartuja Stadium.
