World’s top tennis rivalry in Twentieth-Century, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are planning for an exhibition Match in Latin America after the ATP World Tour Finals in December 2012.
As per the various sources at Brazil, Federer’s Agent, Tony Godsick has confirmed that two exhibitions matches will be held in Brazil and was reported that Federer has an asking price of nearly $2 million per match.
Federer’s Agent while speaking with the various sources has said that, it is true that we are working to bring Federer at the end of 2012. We are trying to make one or more events and working on details such as dates and venues for the games.
As the per reports, one match will be held between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, while the other match is scheduled to take place at Coliseum El Campin in Bogota, talks are taking place to match Federer against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Andy Murray, or Andy Roddick.
Roger Federer has already been scheduled to play an exhibition match with the former American No.1, Andy Roddick on March 5th 2012 at Madison Square Garden, New York, USA.
Meanwhile, on December 5th, 2011, Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer will play an exhibition in Mexico City, just a few days after the Davis Cup final between Spain and Argentina is scheduled to end. The Davis Cup final will be played in Spain. Nadal is rumored to earn at least $1 million per exhibition.
Stay tuned, until next year, as Federer fatigued from tennis, and Nadal doesn’t want a long schedule. Then how can the world’s top seeds are going to play exhibitions.
