Former No.1 tennis legends, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Jim Courier and John McEnroe will kickoff in an exhibition match on Friday, October 14, 2011.
All time Tennis legends Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Jim Courier and John McEnroe, who have clashed in the Champion Series last month will be once again squaring off against each other in an HSBC Tennis Cup, which has been presented by Cancer Treatment Centers of USA, the kick off will being at 07:30 PM EST at Staples Center, Los Angels, California, USA.
The first match in the exhibition match will be played between Andre Agassi and John McEnroe followed by the Pete Sampras, who has been the leading player in the Champion Series, will be playing against Jim Courier in the Staples Center, CA.
Sampras while speaking with the various sources has stated that, he’s been impressed with how much the fans understand about what made each of the players great and added that, the fans wants to watch his serve and volley and Agassi’s great service returns, Jim cracking it from the baseline, see John at the net.
Courier said that he and Sampras were on a flight together after an event in Florida and Sampras was peppering him with the same question. “He wanted to know if I was guessing on his serve,” Courier said, “because he couldn’t figure out how I returned some of them. I told him, yes, I was guessing. And I was. But that’s how competitive this is.”
