The 10-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal feels it’s very tough to loss all championship finals this year, including two major tournament finals at Wimbledon and US Open.
The World No. 2 ranked Nadal, who has lost one more tournament final at 2011 Japan Open, as he beaten-up by the Britain top seed Andy Murray in the final in three sets with a 3-6, 6-2 and 6-0. Nadal also lost six championship finals to World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, which includes two Grand Slam finals at Wimbledon and US Open this year.
The 25-year-old Nadal said he had played aggressive tennis with great serve, but failed to win the crucial finals in this season. Spaniard said that, he had got total seven runner-up titles, where six to Djokovic and one to Andy Murray. He added he is looking forward to Shanghai Masters tournament, where he has been seeded top follows by No. seed Andy Murray. The four-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic and World No. 3 ranked Roger Federer are withdrawn from the China Open and Shanghai Rolex Masters 1000 event, due to injuries’.
Nadal, who has received first round bye at the Shanghai Masters event, where he will battle against his country mate Guillermo Garcia-lopez in the second round on Wednesday. Nadal leads with a 2-1 win loss head-to-head record against Lopez. The pair last meet at Bangkok ATP tournament last year, as Garcia-lopez won the match in three sets with a 2-6, 7-6(3) and 6-3. Spaniard has been practicing hard at the Qizhong Tennis Center in Shanghai on Tuesday.
