The men’s singles ATP rankings remains same on October, 10th, 2011 as the top three seeded players in tennis Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer dominates in the tennis world.
Novak Djokovic, who has been out of tennis form the past one month, continues to be No.1 player in the South African ATP world tour rankings with a total of 14,220 points on the table.
While, this week’s runner-up in the Tokyo Open, Rafael Nadal is placed 2nd in the ATP ranking, Nadal continues to be No.2 position till the Barclay’s world tour finals, as he is still 3845 points behind Djokovic No.1.
16-times, Grand slam champion, Roger Federer is out of form this season having won just one-ATP world tour title has not played any ATP tournament, since his US-Open defeat and stands 3rd in the ranking this week with a total of 8.380 points in ATP sheet.
While, Britain, Andy Murray is getting close to book the No.3 ranking in the ATP with total of 7,825 points. Murray clinching the Tokyo title on Sunday has gained 400- points in ATP ranking is just away form 555 points form Federer to take that position.
While, the other changes in the ATP ranking this week are, Thomas Berdych winning the title at China Open this week has moved up in ranking with No.7 and the remaining players in top-10 have been dropped one place each with Jo-Wilfred Tsonga (8th), Mardy Fish (9th) and Gael Monfils (10th).
